About Lenae

Lenae's interest in health and fitness was sparked while coaching kids in the sport of precision jump rope while in high school. Then after several years of Art school (her first love), she switched majors and began her career in Exercise Science.

Lenae now specializes in weight loss, corrective & rehab exercise, pre/postnatal fitness, posture improvement, and natural pain reduction. A teacher at heart, she is patient and experienced in working with a wide range of clientele from older adults and children to the physically and mentally challenged. She is currently taking a break from the world of personal training (after 12 years in the business) and is working in her children's school teaching High School Art, Physical Education, and coaching a Jump Rope Team again.

Much of her understanding comes from personal experience. Lenae has battled such things as back and foot pain, lactose intolerance, chronic fatigue, IBS, three c-sections, and post pregnancy hernias and diastasis recti. Staying in shape and eating healthy has not always been easy. She knows first hand the struggles of living with chronic pain/illness and dealing with excessive weight gain. Her passion is to use her talents and experience to educate and motivate others to live richer and more productive lives, despite whatever mental or physical issues there may be.

Lenae lives with her husband and three little girls in Gainesville, Virginia. In their free time the family enjoys camping, dancing, creating art, and visiting museums and art galleries.
